In July of 2003, Albion Public Safety welcomed its newest K-9 team.  PSO Jack Williamson and K-9 Biko are trained for narcotic detection, building and area searches, tracking, handler protection, crowd control and article searches.  The team conduct a minimum of eight hours of training each week to maintain a high level of proficiency.

RETIRED K-9'S

During their tours of duty, K-9 Brando and K-9 Est were instrumental in helping ADPS officers keep the streets of Albion safe. The K-9 teams were not only used on the streets of Albion, but were often called out by neighboring police agencies to assist in large operations.
K-9 Brando and K-9 Est were always willing to lend a "paw" when needed.
