Welcome to the Albion Department of Public Safety (ADPS) Home Page. ADPS is a full-time Public Safety Department, providing both Police and Fire Services to the Albion community. ADPS was formed in 1982, when the Police and Fire Departments were merged into one Department. ADPS today has 23 sworn and non-sworn employees, which includes, 21 fully cross trained Public Safety Officers, 2 Civilian School Crossing Guards, and 1 Volunteer Citizen.
This website has been designed to keep the
citizens of Albion informed about their Public Safety Department and provide up
to date knowledge of events in your community. Inside you will find information

and links to information that will assist you in your day to day lives. Nixle ADPS has started using Nixle as a service to it's citizens. The service allows ADPS to send out Emergence Alerts and Community information quickly by email and text to those citizens who have signed up for the service.
